OMG, our city Zoetermeer is suing one of its residents.

“Sweet Lake City wants money from a right extremist. […] The city board demands that a resident pays damages for the fact that he and his right extremist friends soiled Sweet Lake City’s clean-cut image. The man had rented a wooden cabin from the city for a private party. The pictures that were taken there showed various people doing the Hitler Salute. These pictures became public shortly after the fact. […] In May the city pressed charges against the man in question. […] The amount of damages to be paid has not been decided on. The city is waiting to hear from their legal representation.”

The Netherlands are going to have a field day with this. Can you imagine every city suing its residents for soiling the city image?

If this thing pulls through, Amsterdam will never have to worry about funding ever again.
